These Community Guidelines govern all user interactions on 360DigitalTrends (comments, reviews, forms, and any UGC). They complement our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Editorial Guidelines, Corrections Policy, and Affiliate Disclosure.

Keep comments relevant to the article or product.
Share first-hand experience, data, or credible sources.
Summarize long links and explain why they help.
Zero Tolerance Content
We remove content that includes hate speech or discrimination; harassment, doxxing, or threats; facilitation of illegal activity; harmful misinformation (health/financial/security); sexually explicit material or exploitation; self-harm encouragement; malware, phishing, or deceptive practices.
No Spam or Manipulation
No link drops, referral codes, or promotional messages unless clearly relevant and disclosed.
No coordinated upvotes/downvotes, fake reviews, astroturfing, or impersonation.
Don’t flood threads or repost removed content.
Conflicts of Interest & Disclosures
Disclose any financial or personal connection (employee, affiliate, sponsored, free sample). See our Affiliate Disclosure for how we earn.
Reviews & Testimonials (UGC)
Share authentic, first-hand experience (pros/cons, exact model, date used).
Avoid unverifiable superlatives without context.
No compensated/solicited reviews without explicit disclosure.
We may verify purchase/use or ask for clarifications.
Safety & Sensitive Topics
Do not post emails, phone numbers, addresses, license keys, or order IDs.
For health/finance advice: cite reputable sources; avoid risky or prescriptive claims.
We may add editor notes or remove harmful guidance.
Copyrights, Trademarks & AI Content
Post only content you have rights to share; credit sources properly.
Don’t upload copyrighted material without permission.
AI-generated content is welcome only if you disclose (“Generated with AI, reviewed by me”), fact-check claims, and never impersonate or fabricate experiences.
Moderation Process
Automated spam checks plus human moderation.
Clear-cut violations removed immediately; borderline cases may be held for review.
We may edit for clarity (typos/formatting) while preserving meaning.
Major changes or removals can include a brief moderator note.
Enforcement Ladder
Soft warning (comment note or email)
Content removal (with reason)
Temporary restrictions (comment cooldown or shadow-limit)
Account/blocklist for repeated or severe violations
Escalation to authorities for credible threats/illegal content
Reporting Problems
See something off?
Use the “Report” link near the comment (if available), or
Send details via Contact. Include the URL, a copy/paste of the content, and why it violates these guidelines.
We review within a reasonable timeframe; complex cases may take longer.
Appeals
If your content was removed or your account restricted and you believe this was a mistake, submit an appeal via Contact. Include your username, content URL, and why you think it complies. Repeated or frivolous appeals may be ignored.
